1986 GMC K1500, 4X4, manual transmission, solid truck.
1986 GMC Sierra 1500 Sierra Description
Up for auction today is a very nice 1986 GMC K1500 Sierra. This is a very solid, well taken care of pickup. It is time for me to move it along to a new owner. This truck is completely rust free underneath, newer exhaust, brakes, rebuilt front and rear differentials. It has the rare and highly sought after 4 speed manual transmission which shifts great and has a good clutch. This has four new 31" by 10.5" by 15" tires all around. It has an older complete repaint on the body. It still looks really good but has a few scratches and chips as would be expected. There is a small spot of paint starting to bubble on the drivers side rear wheel lower wheel opening. There are no visible dings or dents on the truck that I can see except for a few dings on the bed floor. It has a rebuilt 350 GM engine that runs great. It has a manual choke knob inside the cab to choke it when it is cold. The inside is very nice but the carpet is showing some fading from the sun and age. The front bumper could stand to be replaced and the rear tailgate has Chevrolet trim as I couldn't find a nice GMC trim panel. Easily replaceable if you can locate one. The bed has a few minor dings on it from years of use as would be expected but not bad at all. The 4X4 works great. The truck is not perfect by any means. Please look at all the photos as they are part of the description. The truck is very solid. Drive it home. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding. This truck has not been restored, it has just had a lot of very expensive upkeep done to it over the past few years. It is very hard to find a 32 year old truck this solid and in this good of condition. I have many other pictures available so if anyone is really interested please message me through eBay and I can send extra pictures.
I can arrange shipping anywhere in the world at the buyers expense. If you need a shipping quote please message me with a zip code. A $500.00 non refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction with the balance to be paid within 3 days. The truck can stay as long as it needs to before being picked up or shipped as long as it is paid in full.
The state of Maine does not provide titles for any vehicles older that 1994. So this will only be sold with a Maine registration and a bill of sale.
