1955 GMC 100 Deluxe Description

Up for your consideration is this beautiful 1955 GMC. This truck has been completely restored and needs virtually nothing. The chassis has had the engine and transmission rebuilt, all spring perches have new pins and bushings, the front axle has new king pins and tie rod links. The body has been completely stripped, all metal work and rust repair was minimal as this truck has spent it's entire life in Kansas and Colorado. The bumpers and grill are all replated original parts. The options include a Pontiac V8 and Hydromatic transmission, VERY RARE factory power steering and brakes, deluxe trim package, big back window, hood ornament, vacuum gauge and probably a couple of things I forgot. My dad bought this in Hays Kansas in the late 1970's, it was restored the first time in the early 80's and then used a a service truck for his door and window business and was also used to pull the car trailer that is in the back ground all over the western US. After he retired the truck was once again disassembled and completely gone through a second time and has only seen light duty and shown at car shows since. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of the sale, bank transfer is preferred for the balance, any other form of payment must completely clear before the vehicle will be released. Shipping arrangements are the buyers responsibility but I will be available to help with getting it loaded on a transport.
