1980 GMC Sierra 1500 Description

I’m listing my 1980 GMC Sierra. This was shipped to me from Florida roughly 2 years ago. Since then I installed a very healthy small block 305 from a mid 80’s Camaro and a freshly rebuilt th350 with a new converter as well. My intentions were to build a nice driver to tow my 79 15ft camper that was period correct and could carry the wife and pups. I lowered her 2”, installed new 17” wheels and tires. At that time I did new brakes, some suspension components and professionally aligned.
I personally love GMC, pre 81 square bodies, and 2WD so this truck answered it all. The rust as pictured is the main issue. Florida air rusted parts where water would lie I’m assuming so the hardtop points where it meets the front of the body, under the windshield and hood have rust. The underneath is clean and that was more important to me. It’s still a Florida title and I can make it a PA if needed but as of now it’s still open.
The GMC starts right up, runs great, no leaks or smoke and shifts perfect. She also stops and handles great as well. Most gauges work, CD player is old but still functions. Exhaust sounds great and is not too loud.
I built this to tow distance but never end up choosing this truck since my newer truck is more convenient. The rear window does work and it’s setup with an electric fan and toggle. Was an Ac truck, have the parts but never installed the compressor etc.
I believe I priced very fair for what these things pull these days and what has been performed.
