1954 GMC Other Description
Up for bidding is a very rare GMC 5 window Hydromatic pickup. This thing was ordered with so many options, most very rare on this old of a truck. This must have been a wealthy rancher or farmer's pickup or possibly a well to do person!!! Don't knowThis is a very rare truck worthy of restoring. Appears to be very original, check out the original bronze paint-patina on the steering wheel. The body paint looks to have only one repaint decades ago and you can see the original colors in places great patina paint if thats the look you are after! Cab corner glass's are good, flat glass is cracked. The seat cover looks to be the original!?! Comes with two extra hoods, was told they are off a 53 & 54 GMC. Hood has a dent in it from a fallen tree limb which also cracked the carb base plate. Has the normal rust that these trucks get-cab, fenders need restored but a very, very rare truck. Rolls, steers and tires hold air. Have not tried to start. As I have over 12 other GMC & Chevy 1950s and up pickups, just no time, have to sell some of them!
