1986 GMC Sierra 1500 Supercharged Description

1986 GMC C10

The Good:

High performance 327 which has been rebuilt with Crane cams roller camshaft, agle rods and crankshaft, ing engine bearings, ompression cams roller rockers and timing chain set and cam button, unati roller lifters and push rods, rommax heads, hevy performance head gaskets, RP head and main studs, elling high volume oil pump and hardened oil pump drive, ealed power piston rings, SS Racing forged pistons, nd Cat performance products billet steel crankshaft girdle. New Edelbrock intake manifold and B&M torque converter installed. Engine was recently rebuilt and installed and has approximately 350 miles on it.

Top end goodies include: high pressure fuel pump and regulator, ustom high pressure carburetor by Quick Fuel Technology – Super Street Series, DI electronic ignition, nd Vortech super charger. It’s currently running six pounds of boost. The system is upgradeable to 17 pounds of boost.

Truck has limited slip installed. Paint is original. Alpine stereo with equalizer and subwoofer is installed. Body is original and in great shape – rust free. This truck is originally from the Northwest - so there is no rust! The mileage is only 60,408! Interior is solid – better than its age. Engine runs strong and sounds good. A fantastic truck!

The truck has a set of four Crager rims and new BF Goodrich tires (P295/50R15 on back and P245/60R15 on front) with approximately 400 miles on them. I also have the original set of four rims too. Pictures show both on truck. Truck has new battery and alternator.

The Bad:

There is an electrical drain on the battery I haven’t tracked down yet. The plastic grill was replaced with the Chevy bowtie and it is cracked near the left headlight. The engine is older than the truck and doesn’t have an air pump – which is required for emissions testing for this year vehicle.
