Minor stains on rear back bench seat; 1-2 minor rust stains. Ready to be repainted and driven!
This 1989 Honda Accord LXi is in fantastic working order, and has recently been looked at by a mechanic, who said he wanted to buy it. He also said it should run for an additional 300,000 miles. There are minor mechanical issues that can be addressed, but nothing that impacts its ability to run.
This car has had no history of accidents, no dents. The first owner was an elderly grandmother who only used it for trips to the grocery store. Really, I'd hold onto this car, repaint it, and make it my fun car but my situation will not allow for that. So no reasonable offer will be dismissed - but I think for the quality of this car and how rare it is to find one of these beauties in this condition, with such limited mileage, the price is more than fair.
It has been my daily driver for a year and performed great through a Chicago winter, which certainly says something about the quality of Hondas from this period. It starts quick and true - no bugs or hums. It makes that perfect Honda ignition sound when it turns on. No steering issues, no alignment issues - absolutely nothing wrong with this car.
It has an upgraded Pioneer DEH-80PRS Mobile CD Receiver with 3-Way Active Crossover Network, Auto EQ and Auto Time Alignment that has been installed by ABT with custom Hertz speakers. No cutting or modification was required to install this system as it was able to drop right in. The original stereo will also be included in this auction.
The tires are brand new, all-weather tires with plenty of life left.
Did I mention only 33,788 miles on it?
