1992 Honda Other Description

...and the Beat goes on ... at least this Honda Beat does. She is a super-clean example of innovative Japanese engineering and craftsmanship. I challenge you to find a cleaner Honda Beat in the US or Canada. She has 16,547 kilometers or about 10,285 miles. She has had a repaint, but the repaint appears to have been cosmetic/superficial. The repaint was a decent repair with a factory yellow color and there appears to be no frame or structural issues. She drives great! What is it, you may wonder? It is a 1992 Honda Beat---a Japanese Domestic Market little car (or Kei car) that weights a whopping 1,500 pounds and has a 656cc three-cyclinder engine that will happily rev to about 10,000 rpms. The engine is behind the seats and the smart people at Honda have called this "Midship Amusement." She is a little NSX. Here are some noteworthy items: • She has an upgraded and working stereo system with the extra speakers on the dash; • She has the original steering wheel, shift knob, owner's manual, tool box, and tonneau cover for the original convertible top; • The top as well as all rubber components are soft, pliable, and working as they should; • The yellow paint shines and is unique (more rare) for this model; • She has 4 excellent Dunlop tires with plenty of tread left and they are in the original equipment size (13" up front and 14" in the rear); • The air conditioning (yes, it has air conditioning) blows cold and has no leaks; • The wheels may not be original equipment because they do not say Honda. They say "Citta," but they are classy and set the car off quite wheel. It is very common for the Japanese to replace wheels to make their cars unique. Some wheels they choose are gaudy. These wheels are tasteful. • She has an aftermarket front lower fascia but the fog lights are from Honda. I find the front fascia to also be tasteful. The frame number is PP1-101895.
