This is a 1991 Honda CRX Si with 113K mi that just came from the retired second owner in Florida. The original owner was an employee of American Honda who kept this car at his house in Florida to use when he came down.
It has spent it's entire existence in Florida until I just brought it up to Ohio. This car has been garaged since new and has never been kept outside. This car is bone-stock and I have all the service records for the past 12 years including a timing belt done at 90K. The A/C is cold, the rear wiper works, etc. I can attest that it runs and drives perfectly as I just drove it 1350 miles.
This car drives really, really nicely. It is tight, stable and quiet on the road. The engine is smooth, powerful and revs great. The transmission shifts perfectly and the clutch engages right at the bottom of the travel. The brakes stop well with no pulsing or grinding and the suspension is tight and quiet with no clunks or noises. The steering is tight and precise. This car is totally reliable and dependable and I would trust it to drive anywhere.
This is probably the nicest CRX I've seen in 20 years. The interior is near perfect- the seats are in superb condition with the original fabric in great condition. The carpets are clean and aren't worn or ripped. The original CRX floormats are included and in good condition.
The paint and body are in very, very nice condition. The paint is glossy, smooth and in really good condition. The car was repainted a few years ago, but a quality job was done and it looks really, really nice.No dings, dents or scratches of any significance. No exterior body panel rust and the underside is super clean.
This car has working factory foglights and a factory armrest (two hard-to-find options).
This car has zero modifications besides a CD player radio. Everything works on the car except the sunroof (nothing happens when you push the switch). Also the climate control panel works fine but it is cracked. I have found a NOS replacement for sale if the new owner is interested.
I highly doubt a cleaner or nicer US-spec CRX Si is available for sale anywhere. This is an outstanding example.
