1991 Honda Accord Description
READ CAREFULLY before bidding
Great deal for do-it-yourself mechanic or Accord lover!
I was commuting with this unusually low mileage classic (143k! it came from elderly relatives who didn't use it much) when a light came on and it stalled. I'm pretty sure the problem is the fuel pump (the relay checks out on the bench). Also, it would run fine on occasion, but then cut out. Fuel pump is not expensive and is easy to replace.
That was a long time ago, it's been sitting around waiting for me to retire and get it going again. But now that I'm retired I have too many cars, so it has to go (at least, so says my wife!).
While sitting there the battery died and two tires went flat.
So this car will need to be towed. I think it's a great deal for someone who can fix it up, it probably has a hundred thousand miles or more in it (this model was really well built!). But I repeat, it currently does not run and needs work.
Only other problem I know about is the AC leaks slowly, after recharging it works great but is gone in a week or so. I'm pretty sure it's the evaporator (I replaced most everything else), which is fairly easy to replace (I'll help you if you don't have the tools or know how). I converted to R134A a while back.
Included is official Honda Service Manual and Haynes Repair Manual.
