1976 Honda CB-750 MUSEUM QUALITY CB 750 FOUR Description

Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the classic and muscle car business. Here's something a little different than our standard fare. While the core of our business remains classic cars and trucks, the owner simply could not resist this immaculate 1976 Honda CB750 Four. The historic significance of this machine cannot be overstated; it permanently altered the global motorcycle markets and paved the way for Japanese penetration of the American automobile industry. Honda didn't introduce any earth-shattering technology on their 750, but the inclusion of disc brakes, electric start, a slick 5-speed transmission, and a 67 hp inline four cylinder engine on one bike, especially at $1495., was unheard of. During development, engines were run at 6000 rpm for 200 hours straight, then spun to their 8500 rpm redline for 20 more hours! This grueling testing obviously paid off as it was customary for salesmen to balance a nickel on the engine case while the bike idled. ...more info coming soon...
