THE HISTORY
For the past 20 years - this car has been passed around a group of friends in Metro Detroit. It's now time to offer this up to an outsider and welcome him to the fold. Here's the history.
1994-1999 - Daily Driver in New Jersey with a roof rack on it for a women that clocked about 110K on it.
1999 - Brought to Birmingham MI (by Jeff G.) to start the transformation into a track car. Garage kept and was used as an occasional track day car at Waterford Hills, Grattan and Gingerman
2004ish-2009ish - Car was placed on Jack stands to start the 5 lug swap. It sat in the corner of a 6 car garage as life took over. Swap was finished in summer 09 and car went up for sale.
2010 - Car was sold to another friend (Al S.). Many items updated (engine, gauges, harnesses, wheels/tires, Hondata, battery)) and went to Mid-Ohio and Grattan.
Jan 2011 - Car was sold to another friend (Matt J.). Lots of OCD work including powder and ceramic coating. Suede door trim and headliner. Cage and resprayed interior. Dyno-tuning and corner balancing. Spent most of it's time at Gingerman.
July 2012 - Car sold to another friend (Ali J.) and got a few streetable modifications (radio, street wheels/tires) while seeing occasional track use.
July 2017 - Car sold BACK to a previous owner (Al S.) engine was refreshed and all fluids changed. Spent it's life at M1 Concourse.
May 2018 - Purchased by the current owner and got aesthetic upgrades including new corner lights, new taillights, new battery and fresh fluids. Spent it's life at M1 Concourse.
THE FINAL THOUGHTS
In a word; this car is a BLAST. It's something you can drive at 9/10s and not have to worry about destroying brakes, smoking the clutch or shredding the tires. Everything is easy to wrench on, incredibly reliable and parts are cheap. If you've ever wondered what the big deal about Honda's are - this is a prime example of why they're great - THEY'RE FUN! If you've been thinking about getting back into a Honda or eyeing this for a KSeries swap PLEASE DO IT!
Bottom Line: Whoever gets this car next is getting a loved and cherished automobile. Welcome to the family!

I had a few questions regarding underbody. Yes, I probably should have gotten it on a lift, I apologize - but overall it's very clean. We've had a bit of rain lately, but I did my best to jack up the car and snap some photos.
