1988 Honda Integra - JDM Right Hand Drive - All Original - 30,445 miles
1988 Honda Integra Description
I have your Japanese grandpa's car, right here in Dawsonville GA.
This 1988 Honda Integra is being offered via no-reserve auction. This clean GA title car is privately owned with all EPA and DOT paperwork included. As best as I can tell, the 30,445 miles (48,995 km) is authentic. I plucked it from the USS Auctions a few months back. I've done absolutely nothing to the car other than wash it. You are looking at a raw (and rare) piece of Japanese motoring, so I left it all intact: the bottle of tire shine was left on the rolling cart, and the vacuum cleaner over in the corner. I din't even break out the buffing wheel or quick detailer.
This is a first-gen Integra, stock with the 1.6-liter "Black Top" motor. As can be seen from the photos, this is a legitimate Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicle, making this low-mileage rarity even more special. The body panels are all straight and there are no signs of catastrophic collision repair. And while the paint is glossy, it remains a 32 year-old car after all. I notice only one corrosion spot (I don't believe it to be rust, but a mere etch in the paint that has become corroded beneath one of the rear quarter windows). Other than that, the car is perceived to be rust-free.
Interior shows 32 years of use, with all seats having some sort of rip or tear. The door panels are good, but also exhibit some mild brittling of the vinyl. The dash, steering wheel, instrument cluster, and center console all have survived surprisingly well. The carpet is fair, but the original Integra floor mats are included and may be able to be rehabilitated.
She starts right up and drives well. The auto box shifts with authority and no slop. Of course, a little TLC in the form of belts, hoses, plugs, wires, etc. probably wouldn't hurt. Everything works - pop-up lights, cassette radio, all dash lights, wipers, A/C, etc.
This is the perfect project car, as everything is there, and nothing really needs to be bought. It's just a matter of disassembly, touch-up, and re-assembly. No Honda collection would be complete without a first-gen Integra. Message me with questions or comments.
CLARIFICATION/EDIT #1: the vehicle is in Dawsonville GA 30534. You don't need to order it and wait six weeks for it to arrive from Japan. It's already here, cleared, and titled. Come look at it today in person.
