1991 Honda CRX SI Description

Up for auction is my 1991 Honda CRX Si which is completely original. Original means that its the original Paint, Glass, rims, MOTOR, Transmission, and interior of the vehicle. I will list out replacement parts this vehicle has undergone due to normal wear later.
I purchased this vehicle from the Original Owner in 03/2010. The vehicle was 19 years old at this point and in the same physical and mechanical condition it is today. The original owner was a 60 year old retired engineer who was moving to Arizona and no longer needed the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle due to the extensive data he collected in monitoring everything even down to how much weight was added when rebalancing the wheels. I have never seen such records for a vehicle and I still have them as well as my own. As pictured the car comes with the owners manual as well as the factory service manual, and the Dealership brochure for the 1991 Honda Crx.
My main reason for purchasing the vehicle was it's high efficiency and little fuel consumption. I have driven this car daily for the last 6 years minus any snow that may have been on the ground. I have averaged around 40 MPG on each fill up and only taking the RPM's up NO higher then 4,000. This vehicle still has the original clutch. No accidents of any kind.
I have replaced the battery,timing belt, both front axles and seals, all shock/strut assemblies, water pump, and spark plugs in the 6 years I have owned it. It still runs like new and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country.
Like everything old there has to be some issues. The climate control has the cracked face plate, there are rock chips on the hood and typical door dings here and there. The drivers rear quarter has rust forming, there is some rust forming on the sunroof,and there is a dent on the drivers side rear quarter by the hatch.The A/C needs to be recharged. The hood release needs adjustment at the cable. Thepaint is still very nice and I've never buffed it and I'm pretty sure the original owner never did either based on his age.This vehicle has been garage kept it's entire life.There are no ripsin the seats and no stains in the carpet. Thetires have at least half tread from new at 151,000 miles. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles and documented since new.
I purchased this vehicle for one reason-to save fuel! It has paid for itself but it's time to move on to something new. I have had countless people walk up and talk about the car. People have left notes with phone numbers asking if I would sell it. People will honk and give you thumbs up while driving down the road. Be prepared to have a lot of attention with this vehicle.
