This factory original unmolested 1987 Honda Prelude 2.0si is the last of the Generation 2's and is quite possibly the absolute cleanest factory original and lowest mileage example you will ever find. I am the second owner of this car and the mileage is true and correct. ONLY 56000 ORIGINAL MILES! I purchased the car from the original owner in Phoenix Arizona last year and it became my daily driver at that time. This car is totally reliable, and starts on cue, and drives like a new car. I have only had to do oil changes, and I put 4 brand new tires on the car, only because of the date codes that were on the tires when I bought the car. Those tires judging by the date codes had been on the car for around 20 years, and still had very good tread on them. However, driving in Arizona in the summertime can heat tires up pretty well, so to be safe, I put new sneakers on the car and proceeded to put around 4000 miles on the car in the Phoenix summer. A life change dictated a move back to the east coast, so I put this car on a trailer behind my truck and hauled it across the United States to upstate NY. It has resided in one of my parent's garages on a concrete floor since. My life has since taken me to Florida, and I don't foresee myself bringing this car down to Florida anytime soon. I would rather see someone enjoy this incredibly clean original vehicle than have it sit too long in my parent's garage. Everything works on this car. The AC, the original premium stereo with equalizer. The cruise control works, you name it, it works as it should. This car literally is as close as an almost 30 year old car can possibly be to just rolling out of the factory. Honestly, with a quick go over cleaning, this car could look right at home sitting in a Honda dealership's showroom it truly is THAT clean and original. The car is located in Afton, NY which is about 20 miles north of Binghamton up route 88. At my parent's house where it is stored, there is plenty of room on concrete to load if you are going to trailer this car when you pick it up. I am the second owner of the vehicle, and have already made the paperwork provisions to have a clean, signed title on sight with my parents. You will be responsible for pick up and loading and/or shipping if you so choose. My father will make reasonable efforts to assist, but please bear in mind he is in his mid 60's so please do not expect superhuman efforts please! This is the LAST of the Generation 2 Preludes, and is the rare 2.0si edition, loaded with all options except leather (leather is just never a good idea in the Arizona desert!). This car is as 100% as an almost 30 year old car can be. Everything works as it should and the car inside and out are whistle clean!
ALSO NOTE* This vehicle has ONLY be owned and driven by adults. The original owner was nearing retirement age when I purchased the car from him, and I am 40 years old. This car has never been driven hard or beat on in anyway. This is truly a "garage queen" example. It has been meticulously maintained it's entire life. You'll even find the rubber parts and hoses to be in excellent condition. The car drives without squeaks or rattles. I do not know of any further way to convey the clean and original, almost factory new condition of this almost 30 year old vehicle.
