1993 Honda Prelude Description

I'm selling a 1993 Prelude VTEC, top of the line back in the day, that runs great and would make an awesome DD or a good base for a project. Smooth revving and VTEC engages normally. The CD player is the only non-oem part on this car (that is to say, zero 'performance' modifications... completely stock!)

I purchased this car from Pennsylvania earlier this year and have attempted to fix it up, as it was nearly dead on arrival. It was leaking oil from several places, the seals in which have all been replaced. One location in particular, the rear main seal, was leaking oil onto the clutch resulting in premature failure. I took the vehicle in to have the following areas addressed.
Professional Work Completed:
  • Clutch and Flywheel Replacement
  • CV Shaft, Right and Left Output Shafts
  • Rear Main Seal
  • Valve Cover Gasket
  • Rubber Camcap Gasket
  • Solenoid Base Gasket
  • Oil Pan Gasket
  • Filter Assembly Spool Valve Gasket
  • Valve Clearance Adjustment
  • Manual Transmission Fluid Replacement
  • Oil Change
I have included a picture of the receipt for all work performed. I've driven the vehicle less than 1000 miles in the time that I've owned it. I'll admit it was more of an impulse buy. :)
There is minor rust that is starting in the typical "honda rot" locations, but at this point in time I believe it to be fairly containable. I haven't addressed it due to the fact that the buyer may want to fix it themselves / repaint the car etc. For a vehicle of this age, the body is in good condition and the underbody is in good shape as well.
I have attempted my best to objectively describe the vehicle and provide enough pictures for you to make your best decision. That being said, describing a vehicle is a subjective matter and details will vary from person to person. Please ask all and any questions prior to bidding.
I will be happy to help the buyer with shipping, but must be paid for and/or is the sole responsibility of the buyer (Ie, I can help load, meet in negotiated nearby location, etc. Car is in West Bloomfield MI. Thank you for your interest and good luck!
Ebay's free VIN checker reveals that this vehicle was in an accident in 1999. I was unaware of such when I purchased it and during the 6 months that I've owned it, I've seen no noticeable evidence of such occurring. This vehicle functions and performs very well.

**UPDATE**
I've received messages asking for underbody pics, please see the album below. Rust is minimal as described in the answer to one of the questions below.
