1993 Hummer H1 Description

The body and the title are 1993 everything else has been changed.
This H1 has been hand built on what is the latest and most advanced chassis which is an 11 series with Rev-B rails and components. The only thing 1993 on this build is the body and the interior not even the hood is the old style.Chassis is built on the latest 3 piece frame rails used on the up-armored HMMWVs with the latest edition of the Rev-B rails. All parts of the chassis were powder coated and chassis was assembled from ground up. The steering box and idler arm are the large units now as used on heavy armored HMMWVs not the underpowered unit that HMMWVs always came with. Brakes have been increased to 13" rotors increasing braking by approximately 30% as opposed to the 12" rotors the newer HMMWVs have or the 10" the 9 series were equipped with.
The 4" suspension lift was designed to accept 4" more spring and shock to accept the weight and return performance to HMMWV under added weight of armor. The springs and shocks on this non armored version are designed for the lighter weight which provides for a normal ride versus the stiff springs of the up-armored. This 4" lift is about a $30,000 cost and has never been made available to civilian world. shocks were specially built for us by Fox Racing's military division.
Our work that went in to building this H1 comes from years of working on survivability and mobility for the military HMMWV. You can see a bit of our projects at GraniteTacticalVehicles.com
The engine is a 6.5 turbo build by Peninsular engines out of Michigan and is putting out about 330 HP fastened to a 4L85 transmission. Half shafts, geared hubs and differentials are the newest models and not what's been installed on H1 previously.
Body has complete fresh paint job and slant back. Vehicle currently has a wrap on if for Firestorm Pizza and has been being used as a show vehicle for marketing promotions. The wrap is easily removed and vehicle will show no signs of ever having been wrapped.
Vehicle sits up on 40" with the 4" suspension lift as well as a 2" body lift for a total of 6" of lift. Front grill is custom version of the military one but designed for the height of the lift.
Feel free to send me any questions you might have as there is nothing standard in this build.
