1975 International Harvester Scout Description

1975 Scout II XLC, 196 4cyl, 4 spd with 2 wheel drive and 3.54 power lock provides great fuel mileage, plenty of power and great traction. Built 3/75 and showing 87,000 miles

Excellent Original Truck that has not been molested. Living in Oregon, it had a nice rust free body with all original sheet metal. When in Oregon both front and rear seats were recovered, a new carpet was installed and was then painted the original colors with metallic in the brown.

About 20 years ago it moved to British Columbia where it resided in a collectors barn until a complete mechanical inspection/service was preformed this summer. Now time to move onto another project.

It has an excellent original rear cargo floor mat and spare tire cover. The chrome on the front bumper is straight & shiny and the rear step bumper is in very good condition as well.

This Scout has a nice original dash pad with no cracks, a presentable original headliner and nice interior trim pieces. It also has Stan's Headers that are in excellent condition, a Clarion AM/FM Stereo Cassette Player (does need better speakers) and optional Sliding Glass rear side windows. All of the glass is good with no cloudiness or cracks and the door windows glide up and down with ease.

This Scout has a New Set of 235/75R/15 All Season Tires mounted on Scout Chrome Rallye Rims.

Mechanical work preformed included:

Rebuilt Power Steering Box and P/S Pump.

Rebuilt Holley 2v Carburetor.

Rad was Flushed and Boiled.

New Fuel Sending Unit.

New Battery

New Brake Hoses (has disc front & drum rear)

New Shoes and Wheel Cylinders.

New Tailpipe.

The Fuel Tank was replace with one in excellent condition.

It is currently licensed and insured....waiting for you to drive it home~!
