Up for auction is this sweet 1968 Scout 800A. 304 V8 has less than 100 miles on a complete rebuild. Transmission is a T18 4 speed. Recently cleaned and sealed both fuel tanks, new sending units and fuel lines. Newly rebuilt brake system. I have had 4 Scouts in the past and this is the fastest one I've owned. Really hauls A$$
Oil pressure and amp gauge work, but the speedo is inoperative. Turnsignals, brake lights, and headlights all work. Windows roll up and down smoothly. Has a nice 6 point roll cage installed.
Items that need attention: Needs new tires. Has rust on the drivers side rocker (a previous owner riveted a patch over it). Floor pan is solid but a few of the floor supports are rusted out. The good news is the frame and all the mounts are in excellent shape. There are a few dents and dings on the body but overall in really nice condition for it's age. Fenders, doors, and quarter panels are real solid.
Nice example of a southern Arizona Scout just begging for someone to restore it. It can be yours if the price is right! Contact me at 520 403-6412 if you have questions. Thanks for looking
