1936 International Harvester Other Stake Bed Truck Description

1936 International C40 Stake Bed Truck
This is a barn find, 1936 International stake bed truck that is in surprisingly good condition for its age. It was found in a barn in Missouri. At some point before it was discovered it was retrofitted with a 6 cylinder Chevrolet engine. The only thing I had to do to it was put on a rebuilt carburetor and a replacement oil bath air cleaner. The truck starts easily, shifts well and yard drives just fine. It will need some brake work, to what extent I have no idea. I am not sure if the transmission was replaced with the engine or if the Chevrolet engine just bolted up to it, either way it all seems to work just fine. Both doors shut well. The interior wood is pretty decent in it. This is the year where they got away from wood inside the doors. There is some rust at the bottom of the doors and passenger side Splash apron area where it meets the floor frame, but it is not what I'd consider serious. Please see close-ups of these areas you can zoom in on the photos from a laptop. I'm starting the auction at what I feel is a fair starting price for a running driving titled relatively rare truck. I can store it here as long as you need outside as long as it is paid for in full and I will gladly mail you the title once full payment is received. Please watch the video showing how well the truck does run and drive so you know what you are getting on. If you have any questions call me at 906-285-0819 Thank You!

Shipping Information
I don't personally have a trailer that I feel is heay enough to haul this truck but I could borrow one from a friend and probably transport or meet within a two to three hundred mile radius for a pretty reasonable fee. *I can store here as long as you need outside as long as it is paid in full.
