1968 International Harvester Travel All RARE AND FUN Description

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 8O5-8038 TO BUY IT NOW! THANKS AND GOOD LUCK! This is such a cool truck. It is 1968 International Travelall 1000C that isa rare old rig and even more rare being a one owner Survivor. You can find a Scout without too much trouble butthis is one ofthe original SUVs. You can find others but finding one that has never been modified and is basically an untouched truck after almost 50 years is much more difficult. It has the feel, the look, and even the smell of an original68,000 milecar that will take you back in time. The Travelall is about as solid as they come. It is arrow straight and extremely solid. The floorboards and frame are very solid. The rockers arebeautiful. The body is excellent. The only spot of rust on the truck is at the bottom of the tail gate. The rest of the sheetmetal is outstanding. It is easily repaired but I would not touch it. I was told and I believe most of the Bahama Bluepaint to be original. Some places have been spot painted in. I think the hood has been re-sprayed and some of the paint on the front of the hood surface is flaking. The paint looks so cool but it is far from perfect and probably looks better in the pictures than in person. I just want to be honest and upfront so you are happy with the deal. The doors shut like new and with that kind of thud that only unrestored examples get. The International runs extremely well. It is bone stock. It is smooth, strong, and relatively quiet. It is a 304 cubic inch V-8 and well equipped with power steering, power brakes, and automatic transmission. Most were three on the tree or four speed manual transmissions on the floor so driving an effortless automatic is a nice upgrade. Everything on this truck works like you would expect for a well cared for example. The lights, gauges, turn signals, horn (it also has an added auxiliary Aooga horn that works too), power rear window works well from inside or outside, and even the original AM radio still works! It still maintains the original upholstery which has a couple of minor seam splits that could be repaired if you wanted to. It did not bother me. The dash and gauges are in excellent condition. It also has an added vintage gauge package underneath the dash. Nothing was cut up and the gauges are very cool. Factory steering wheel and original keys. All of the windows roll up and down smoothly. Clean, clear CA title in hand with current 2018 registration. No smog ever needed. It is a wonderful old International but it is an 100 percent stock and unrestored example, not a concours quality restored one. Please be realistic with your expectations. This is a great truck with a ton of character and great patina that everybody absolutely loves! Tow your vintage Airstream across the Great Old US of A in style! I am located in Cardiff, California in North County Coastal San Diego. Thanks!
