1960 International B120 All Wheel Drive Pickup Truck ....Great Find all Stock
1960 International Harvester B120 Description
This family owned this 1960 International B120 truck for past 38 years. This survivor has been nestled under 200 foot fir trees will need very little to restore. It was licensed and regularly driven through 1993 thenused annually with temporary licensed permits for the annual hunting trip and dump or firewood runs through 2015. According to the wife they parked the truck with him planning to repair a sticky rear brake over the weekend he passed away and never saw that weekend. She loved how much fun driving the truck was and remembered it running great when she parked it that afternoon.
The motor turns freely. We have a monsoon on our hands today but plan to get some fresh gas, clean the plugs, check the points, find the oil cap and the key, hook up a battery and fire it as soon as the rain slows to a downpour. We see no reason for it not to. If still necessary my mechanic is traveling to us on Sunday to do whatever necessary. If still available we will continue to update our findings
The body and bed are very solid with the only issues albeit small are a small area on the bottom of the passenger door, the to be expected but not terrible cancer to the floor boards. Other things we noticed were drilled holes in both doors from a different mirror configuration, dent on front of hood and grill, small tear in back drivers' fender, the front bumper is off but present, the original seats have some rips, the radio is absent, the windshield has a crack but non obstructive, gearshiftknob is missing, some surface corrosion on headliner, drivers door and dash, in need of new tires, the exhaust pipe is loose just past the manifold but just a clamp and plenty of worn faded paint. All minor things especiallywhen talking about a 55 year old truck.
Benefits include rare combination of dualheadlights and curved grill, a near perfect truck bed including floor, special diamond plate steel encased taillights, excellent tailgatewith chain latches intact, all wheel four wheel drive, 4 speed manual transmission, original split wheels, door and rear glass is good, dual mounted spares on side, stepside bodystyle and most important the vehicle is far above average in what's needed to make it a $10,000+ valued truck
We would certainlybenefit for runningthe truck auction style but the owner wants the numerous vehicles on the homestead gone hench the low price and even the offer option. if I hadn't already purchased a vehicle I'd take this one too.Vehicles sold so far include a 1950 Harley Davidson, a boat, a 1937 Chrysler Windsor, a 1973 "Scooby Do" short wheel base van and a couple newer cars.
No guarantees but the winner of this truck if he picks it up would have a inside track to acquire other vehicles on the homestead we are planning to liquidate including a 1965 Dodge Dart GTConvertible that's been stored for the past dozen years in a clean dry environment, a 1950 Lincoln with suicidedoors and not a ding on it's body, a 1967 Chevelle Convertible, a couple boats, a heavy duty Cushman with bed and numerousassorted parts including very rare glass, hoods, trim pieces and misc from the vehiclesof twoseparateextended families since on the homestead since 1943. I haven't even gotten to the secondresidence vacated decades ago or one shop. A time capsule surrounded by the tallest straightest trees outside of the Olympic National Park.
Super low asking starting Price that's half of what you'd expect along with the offer option, no reserve. You are getting a great mid century vehicle while helping the widow remove the constant memories from the homestead.BUY now or regret missing out on this brute of a International 4 x 4.
IMPORTANT NOTICEWe consider your bid as an honest and truthful attempt to acquire this vehicle and will employany means available to us to receive some form of retribution for fraudulentbids so beware scammers flakes or other similartypes
