1936 International Harvester C30 truck
1936 International Harvester Other C30 truck Description
This old truck was discovered in an abandoned rock quarry in the Flint Hills of Kansas after resting there undisturbed for at least 30 years. It was purchased and then transported to Glendale, AZ where considerable time and expense went into making sure the engine was sound. She now runs with no smoke, no rattles and no knocks. The engine was rewired, the starter and carburetor were rebuilt, and she cranks well on a new 6 volt battery.
The sheet metal is unusually straight and in excellent shape after 82 years; however, an attached photo shows some rust in the bottom of the passenger side door. At this point, she starts, runs and rolls with new vintage tires on the front axle. The transmission is likely in good shape but the throwout bearing probably needs replacing before the clutch will engage.
We have to move on to other projects so we will leave restoration to someone else. We will deliver this beautiful truck for an additional fee.
