1969 International Harvester Scout Description

1969 International Harvester Scout 4x4
This Scout runs and drives good with a 196 engine and 3 speed manual transmission. 4x4 works good too.
The tires are in very good condition, about 70%.
The brakes work great, and have a line lock for the front brakes.
The body, floors and bed have zero cancer.
The boom in the back still works using hydraulics. It was used to mount an auger for drilling fence post holes for most of its life. So, it mostly idled in a field drilling holes. It also has a PTO still in working condition to run the auger or a winch.
Has 2 frames, side by side to support the boom.
It has a tow bar on the front.
Fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, amp gauge, speedometer, and heater all work.
CONS;
Windshield wipers and blinkers are not working.
Body is very rough and doors are hard to shut.
There is rust in the removable top.
Reverse has a clunk, but still works like it should. I will include an extra 3 speed transmission if wanted.
Overall a good running Scout that is a part of history and deserves a good home!
