1963 International Harvester Scout Description

1963 Scout 800 4×4.Solid AZ truck with only some rust in the passenger side rocker panel. Floors are overall very solid with some little spots here and there. Overall straight vehicle with only minor dents / damage here and there. It runs well and does not smoke but needs some fine tuning. It had been sitting for a the last 5 or so years and rarely driven. Brakes feel good, clutch feels fine and it shifts well. Great restoration project or drive as-is after you have an expert go through the vitals just to be safe. Wiring looks frayed and Id recommend a new harness. Previous owner made a custom front bumper bracket and added another radiator in front of the original. Extra cooling??? Previous owner had the truck since 1979,almost 40 years. There was spray foam applied to the interior roof and it appears he used it in other areas for insulation. Driver side window regulator spring needs repaired, it does not stay up. All glass is in good shape. Custom roof rack. Truck was originally Red. Tires are dry but hold air fine.
