1954 International Travelall R110
1954 International Harvester Travelall R110 Description
This auction is for a 1954 Travelall R110. This truck was used at a summer camp in Napa County, California in the Mount St Helena foothills near the town of Calistoga. The truck still has Camp Kilowana stenciled on the side, it a little hard to read now. Camp Kilowana was a summer camp for Camp Fire Girls operated from 1945 until 1961. It’s a bit of a project but runs and drives really well. The truck has a new rebuilt engine that was professionally done at a machine shop and runs perfectly, it idle so smoothly you can hardly tell it’s running. The previous owner had the motor rebuilt and never drove it, so it got almost zero miles on the new motor. The brakes and transmission were also rebuilt. The truck was rewired and that is almost complete, but needs finishing. It has some dents and some rusty spots and a nice patina. Some of the back windows are cracked. The truck shows 34,000 on the odometer and I believe that to be the original mileage because the steering and suspension are tight. It was probably used to shuttle people and pick up supplies in town. It now has two front bucket seat that aren’t original, but look good in it. There is only surface rust on the roof and in the gutters. There are places on one front fender and a couple small spots down low that need repair or maybe not if you like patina. Some rust repair was started .It’s been off the road for years, it is not currently licensed and is sold with a California bill of sale on a DMV form. The vin / serial number plates are intact. I can store it up to 30 days after payment if time is needed to pick it up. I will help your shipper load. It is now 12 volts, it’s starts right up and runs like a top, no smoke no noise.
