1951 International Harvester R-110 Description

Up for bid is my 1951 International Harvester R-110. The body was set on a stock 1993 Toyota P.U. Chassis 22RE, 5spd, fuel injected. I saved the firewall of the Toyota and removed all other body panels. The frame of the toyota was stretched 12” and the factory body mounts were removed and re located. The International firewall was cut out in order to graft the Toyota firewall, this allowed me to keep in contact all original Toyota wiring, fuel, brake lines, heater controls and steering column. The International bed was a long bed and had to be sectioned a total of 24” to make it a shortbed. The bed floor was raised up to clear the Toyota frame that sweeps up. The truck is stock ride height, no drop spindles or modification to the torsion bars. The door glass is currently lexan, the a.c. Needs a new high pressure line, new belt, and to be repuesrrized. It was in working order until I bumped the line onto the battery terminal. I weled tabs and re used all of the Toyota factory seat belts including the middle lap belt. The seat is out of the Toyota as well. I ran taller tires and through a rear thirdmember from a previa van in it. I still commute to work in it as we speak. I took alart the factory Toyota guage cluster and removed the face of the International guages and sandwitched them together, then installed them back in the truck for an original look. The fuel guage works, but speedo and temp do not, I think I’m just missing the correct signal wire for the electric speedo. It’s a fun truck, plenty of power to move its 3,600lbs, turns heads and gets a lot of thumbs up, time for a new 4 seater project!
