1979 International Harvester Scout RALLYE Description

1979 RALLYE SCOUT SURVIVOR

210-548-1310.San AntonioTEXAS

Here is a really nice original survivor Scout! This truck has NOT been messed with.

Original Rallye Package graphics, factory Air Conditioning, Original Rallye Wheels and Sport Steering wheel.

It has the deluxe interior which is original and pretty damn nice still. I was told that the removable top has never been off the truck. It has a brand new carburetor and brand new BFG tires all the way around.

The truck runs strong, engine has good oil pressure. Transmission shifts smooth and brakes are good. It has power steering and power front disc brakes. I believe it originally had cruise control, which is not working.

The body is very nice. Its straight, doors don’t sag windows crank up and down nicely. The AC is all there but not coming on. Seems unit has no power currently, because even the blower isn’t spinning. The truck is not prefect, but its a very nice Scout. Floors are solid, body mounts good. It has a little typical rust low in front of windshield. Been a Texas truck and is located in San Antonio. Call Hawk for more details. 210-548-1310

Thanks for your interest and or winning bid. I hunt vintage cars and trucks across the great state of Texas, have since 2004. Most of what I find are rare and unique vintage vehicles, and generally over 40 years old. Most will have scratches, dings, dents and yes rust at some level. I do my best to accurately describe what I see. During the auction is the time to call or write with your questions or concerns, not after winning. My phone number in San Antonio is 210-548-1310. I’m friendly and easy to work with. I’m also happy to help get your vehicle loaded when your shipper arrives or help when there is a missing title situation. I offer all winning bidders two-weeks from auction end of FREE storage. Thereafter $30 per day unless previously arranged. A non-refundable deposit of $700.00 usd is due at auction end. The balance within a week via cash in person or wire transfer. Again thanks for your interest!
