1971 International Harvester Scout 800B, Comanche Edition
This rare, low mileage (33,311), survivor is now for sale in Texas. Production of the Model 800B Scouts began in Nov.’70, and ended in Mar. ’71, including approximately 1,500 Comanche editions,of which it is estimated that less than 30 still survive. This is the 232 cu. In. 6 cylinder, with 3-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive. It is inspected in Texas, is rust free, and has a clear title.
This vehicle has been brought up to collector quality, and it has won every car show entered. There are no rust issues, and everything works on this IHC Comanche Edition Scout 800B, including all gauges, AM radio, dual wipers, windshield washer, and heater w/ 2-speed fan. The smooth running 232 Cu In engine and 3-speed transmission have been maintained by an expert mechanic.
Incredibly, this IHC Comanche still has it’s original paint on the hood, and entire upper “butterscotch” body. The interior, including seat upholstery and floor matting, is completely original, with very few imperfections.
