1977 International Harvester Scout Description

1977 International Scout. This Scout was used for a hunting rig in Pennsylvania,but had been sitting for a few years since being driven. Shows 09366 miles,so I’m assuming 109366.Has new battery. Fires right up,runs,but I’m sure could use a tune up and some fresher gas. Truck has dual exhaust,which needs replaced.it’s loud.A partial restoration was starte, but not yet finished.Has aftermarket poly plastic gas tank installed. Tires have great tread,but are dry rotted. Has Bushwacker fender flares. Interior has nice seats,dash lights all work. Tilt steering column,Body is in pretty good shape for a Scout,but it will require some work to be perfect. The main rusty spot in in the front floor support as you can see in the pics. The doors open and close very nice. The windshield frame is very nice too.The floors are overall really nice,but theres a couple small spots that will need attention. Overall,I would think this Scout is one of the better ones for sure. I’d finish it myself,but time isn’t on my side.

Sold as is where is,but I can meet a transporter or pickup. I live in a neighborhood,but can bring it to a WalMart or something to meet transporter. Payment to be received within 7 days unless other arrangements are made.

The roof is removable and convertible tops are available.The current hardtop needs new seals.
