1980 International Harvester Scout Description

Searching for Scout buyer interested in 345 fuel injected engine under the hood of a mostly restored 1980 Scout II.
Motor is setup with Holly fuel injection. Engine has roughly 20,000 miles on it. One of the lifters is slapping. Engine complete with headers. Motor provides full compression and power.
Mileage shown on ad refers to engine only. Obviously, the entire truck has more...it was built in 1980!
Steering box and transfer case have been rebuilt. Truck has spring lift with replacement bushings. Upgraded tie rod and steering bar installed.
Body restored about 10 + years ago. Some light rust starting to appear. One minor dent in passenger rear quarter panel end cap. Otherwise the rest of the body blemishes are scratches and the aforementioned light spots of rust. See photos. Vehicle has been garaged since body restore.
Color is listed as tan. It is a cross between silver and tan. I admit it's not the best color; however overall the body is in good shape. I am selling the truck - color as is - please paint it as you wish.
Fiberglass liftgate. The drivers side latch is damaged on the liftgate.
Interior completely reupholstered and carpeted. Interior is in fantastic shape. Excellent stereo with sub woofer/amp also setup. Complete with headliner and two dome lights. Sound dampening material on the inside of the doors, under carpet, etc.
Areas that need attention:
Rear-end has a many miles on it.
Rear tail lights function but blinkers not functioning anywhere on the vehicle. If I keep the vehicle I would re-wire almost everything as part of the restore work I have been working on.
Included is a set of commercial strength tire chains that make this rig unstoppable in the snow. I will also include a hi-jack, lug wrench, and hub turning tool. Hubs are heavy duty.
