Excellent 1955 International Metro!
This is a really clean example of an IH Metro. Nearly rust free! A few very minor areas that are ALL pictured. Please go to my drop box link to view even more high res pics!
This 55 Metro Runs, Drives, and Stops, all very well. Originally from the west coast, The condition is understandable. This was originally a Mayflower moving company van. There are a few upgrades made such as a passenger seat, seatbelt, a third brake light, and a temp gauge. These are all reversible if you would like to restore to original. There are a few cracked pieces of glass and some seals and such that will need attention eventually, but it is all relatively minor needs.
In 2008 the engine was professionally rebuilt and has had very few miles added since. At that time the van was converted to a 4 speed trans, and also upgraded to 12v. I cannot express how well this van runs and drives and it just sounds great.
This is such a great blank canvas for your business as well. I am 5-7” and can stand up in the back. It is a real eye catcher and everyone loves it! This is a great opportunity to pick up a ready to work Vintage Van that needs minimal attention before a paint job or wrap for your biz! We just stand in it and the ideas flow!!
There is also a pallet box full of spare parts! 3 bumpers, a dash, engine cover, rub rails, doors from a round body, also a bunch of spare glass that is mostly cracked but good for patterns. A few carbs and various other parts.
