1961 International Scout

1961 International Harvester Scout Description

Due tounforeseen retirement I can no longer afford (financially) to proceed with thecompletion of this project. I started it about 5 yrs ago..but it has sat for the last 2 yrs..It was running when I last parked it. Currently it has not running There is only one side driver side gas tank but the cross overswitch is there..I believe it it the fuel pump which I am in the process ofchanging. when I started since I'm not somechanicallyinclined I invested thousands in repairs at a classic car repair facility in CT.(.I havereceipts)..that's the good part..the bad is since it sataroundthe last few years the bottom part of the frame has rotted and will need to be "boxed" or cut out andreplaced..please ask any questions I will do my best to answer them..I don't want anyone to be mislead on it's condition..the truck is located in Ct. 06831..the doors are not from a 61 they are from a latermodelas you can see...the truck is in the condition it was in when I purchased it any modifications that have been made are from the previous owner..Scouts are getting harder to find and I think this onedeservesto be completed ...
