1986 Isuzu P'up Pup Description

This is an extremely rare and very nice 1986 Isuzu P'up with a factory installed 2.2 Liter 4 Cyl Turbo Diesel Engine and 5 Spd Manual Transmission. These Isuzu Pups were only available in the U.S. with the Turbo Diesel Engine for 1 year ~ 1986, and there were not very many imported so one like this, and in excellent condition, is a very rare find indeed. This truck is originally from Arizona so there is 0 rust or corrosion. It is equipped with A/C and power steering both of which function as they should. The Diesel Engine is new from valve cover to oil pan and has less than 1,000 miles since the complete build. I also replaced the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing, alternator, starter, new u-joints, carrier bearing, new tires, and resealed the injection pump. This Pup runs and drives as good as it looks and starts right up just as it should even on cold start. I had the truck completely "body off" stripped down and painted ($4,500) using the factory color code paint. There were no dents or rust to repair so no bondo or body filler was used. The result is a mirror like factory finish that as close to new as you'll find. I had a spray in bedliner done as well to keep the bed in like new condition.The interior is in very good "all original" condition with only a small crack in the dash which is now covered. I have all the books/manuals/repair manual, and original Isuzu OEM Radio. The truck stays inside my warehouse with a car cover on it.To say I have invested a ton of money in this truck is definitely an understatement! I was building this truck for my dad as this is an EXACT model to the very last truck that he purchased brand new in 1986. Unfortunately he passed away prior to me finishing it and it doesn't make sense for me to keep it and just let it sit. I would not hesitate to drive this truck across the country tomorrow.
