Conversion done professionally with a kit from "Jaguar Specialties", onsidered the best on the market. The Jag has very low miles at 56k. When the engine swap was done the LT1 got all new valve cover / intake / oil pan gaskets, ront and rear seals, high performance MSD Optispark distributor and coil as well as exhaust headers into a Flowmaster dual exhaust system; not loud at all, ust a low purring with a hint of rumble. New aftermarket high flow radiator, lectric fans, he list goes on. A/C needs to be completed, ompressor is on engine with belt, omponents are included. No expense was spared when doing the conversion; I have been told by mechanics and at car shows that it's the cleanest, ost well done Jaguar engine swap they've seen.
Most Jaguar V8 swaps get a simple, ow power GM 350 "crate motor" with a carburetor and a three speed transmission. I had a GM crate motor Jag previously and the performance and MPG were disappointing. I've also had an XJS with the stock V12; the power, hile good, annot compare with the acceleration and responsiveness of the fuel injected 5.7 V8, s well as improved reliability and low cost maintenance.
This conversion was done right with a low mileage (approximately 20k) 1997 5.7 LT1 V8 rated at 310 HP and a four speed auto transmission with overdrive; it will get 26 MPG+ on the highway. Recent work includes new brakes and rotors all around (rear brakes on a Jaguar of this era is over four hours of labor, ery expensive), ull tuneup, ynthetic oil and four wheel alignment. As I mentioned the Jag only has 58k and feels like a new car.
Rare black leather interior, eated seats, ew top and carpet three years ago and a brand new boot cover for when the top is down.I've got the Jaguar on my classic insurance for a valuation of $26k, ull comprehensive for $186 a year. I've got far more invested than my reserve; finances andloss of storage force sale. I've also got a 1989 XJ12 coupe as well as a 1929 Mercedes Gazelle SSK replica for sale, etails below.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as the Jaguar is for sale locally and I'm open to reasonable buy it now offers as well.I can assist with shipping in the USA or internationally if necessary, ost of shipping to paid by buyer. I can recommend a door to door auto shipper I've used in the past; they're professional, eliable and have great rates.

1989 XJ12 coupe, 12, 8k original miles
bought previous to the convertible. It's identical, ed with black leather interior. The interior looks brand new, he paint is a bit dull. Overall, "nearly new" 1989 XJ12, ll stock down to the Jaguar radio. Everything works including the heated seats and a/c. I haven't used the car much since getting the convertible so she should be gone through before daily driving. I know the tires and belts should be changed; I may do it for the buyer depending on agreed price. I'm looking for best offer around $7500. If someone is interested in both I'm willing to do a package deal price-wise.
