1957 Jaguar XK150 FHC | Matching #s car for restoration
1957 Jaguar XK Fixed Head Coupe 2 door Description
Matching #s Jaguar XK150 FHC for restoration.
This car was built in december 1957 and delivered to its first american owner, D.E. King, in 1958 by Jaguar Cars New York. It was probably taken off the road and left neglected shortly after 1972, with 64.000 mls. All numbers are still matching (chassis, body, engine block and head and automatic transmission). The car is in rough condition, waiting to be reincarnated.
The chassis has rust damage in various areas and should probably be replaced. The body will need extensive repair work, but is still in restorable condition. Relatively straight panels, except for the right front fender (old collision damage).
The engine is seized and all technical components should be rebuilt or replaced. The car is mostly complete on major components, missing the rear window glass, rear side windows, RH bonnet hinge and various smaller items.
US title (Maryland), EU import documents (duties paid) and Jaguar Heritage Trust production certificate.
