1967 Jaguar Other blue ambla Description

here for your consideration is a 1967 jaguar mk2 sedan, badged as the '340' for thefinal year of US import. The Car starts right up and drives OK but should befully gone through as its has had little use for the last decade or so..seems to be relatively unmolestedcondition and the number match those on the jaguar daimler heritage 'productiontrace record' which state the car was made in feb '67. It has a 4 speedmanual transmission and power assistedsteering. The US market 340 is same specs as the post 'sept 66 Mk2 sold in other markets.. the onlydifference from any other 3.4 mk2 sedan is the wheels and hubcaps which werestandardized in Sept '67, when imports of this model ended for US market. Unlike the homemarket 340, the US version has the samechassisnumberingsequence as the Mk2 3.4.On Dec-22-16 at 12:43:03 PST, seller added the following information:

Ive been asked about rust..look at the images closely. Very little and the mainstructure is excellent ..nothing asregardsany rustthrough in doors or other outerpanels..all the gaps onpanels are excellent, the car isstraight, very sound and highly original..no evidence of any accidents oraccident repairs.actual mileage unknown.. odometer shows +/- 67k but ihave no history to back this up. Appears to have had one light repaint a long time ago. there is some minor bubblingon the rear lower end of the r/hfront fender, but thecurvedlipappears to be OK.. acouple of jacking point tubes have some damage as is normal with these cars (I do havereplacement tubes made tooriginal specs in UK for rear andwill offer them with carif aviable buyer comes forth) there are couple ofother small areas lowerdownon passenger side that mayhave had somelight body repair, butoverall the car is a very sound condition andaboveaverage for an unrestored car and its easyto see what you have here. Its a very decent restoration project that can be restored whist driven and is in much better condition 'under the surface' than many tidier restoredcarsout there and in use. ..

As previously stated :- it starts up (first time wit nohesitation) runs and drives ..oil and coolant appear to be clean..battery was replaced with goodquality new one (exide) lastyear. it shifts throughgears smoothly, bothfoot brake and parking brakeswork, but, due to little use in the pastdecade, I'd recommend the car be 'gone through'beforeembarking on a long journey. Tires are virtually unworn.. but age of them is unknown.. minimally 10 yrs.. Ivenever driven it more than a mile or so ..the car is not currentlyregistered for road use..

a deposit of $500 is due viapaypal within 24 hrs of close ofauction..balance can be paid bycashier check, bank transfer orchase on collection Ifyou are local.. please do NOT bid if youcannot follow through and complete the transaction.(as did the last buyer who has failed to even reply to a request for communication.. he simply dissapearedwithout trace)

finally. should you require more info oradditional images..contact me via ebay system before auction ends.. thank you.
