Purrs & Roars

Beautiful and rare 1960 Jaguar MKII resto mod finished in British racing green with tan leather interior. This car has had numerous upgrades while still maintaining the original look and feel.

Engine/Transmission

The engine is a 4.2 straight six from a series II XKE, this incredibly capable engine has been race tuned with Jaguar racing Cams, electronic ignition, billet distributer, rebuilt and oversized triple SU's. The customization of the SU's includes making the bores larger, changing the jetting to match the Cams, all new fuel lines installed, new gas tank,the mechanicalcooling fan was removed and replaced by a high flow electric fan, GM style 180 amp alternator, with new belts, billet lightweight flywheel, high performance clutch to drive the Tremec world-classT5 built by Elite racing transmissions, the exhaust exits the car through twin stainless steel pipes with performance mufflers, and boy what a roar. Oil and filter service has recently been carried out, she behaves very well on the road with impeccable manners around town however, open her up and hang on, as she's very fast and super responsive, fit a roll cage and take herto the track!

Suspension/Wheels/Tires and Brakes

HarveyDaily handling kit fitted to include, sway bars front and rear, front springs, which tie in nicely with the 4 piston disc front brake upgrade, rear brakes completely overhauled with new pads, rotors and rebuilt calipers, new brake lines, steering linkage replaced, the original wheels have been tuned, powder coated gloss black, and wrapped in Sumitomo 215/65 R15 performance tires. All this makes her beautifully balanced and agile.

Interior

The driver’s seat is a 1960's period correct, Coombs replica, aluminum bucket racing seat, with SFI approved 3'' racing lap belts, we still have the original driver’s seat. Moto Lita 14" 3 spoke polished wooden steering wheel, Smiths gauges have been restored and upgraded with LED back lighting, at night they provide a clear warm glow to drive by, LED dome lights, dynomating sound proofing covered with quality new carpets throughout. Alpine 7" touchscreen monitor andsound system, which actually looks like it came with the car back in 60's, loaded with Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Sirius XM radio, 5 channel amplifier, new Alpine door speakers, 8" JL audio subwoofer mounteddiscretelyin the trunk next to the relocated battery and cut off switch. This whole interior package makes for a wonderful place to be while driving.
