1955 Jaguar XK XK-140SE Roadster Description

1955 Jaguar XK-140SE, OTS, 4 Speed Manual Transmission.

This car was a very rare find, in that the overall condition of the body was near perfect with no rust to speak of. It was a solid car prior to restoration, which made the frame-off process run smoothly. This XK was previously registered in California in 1973 with only 35,000 miles shown on the odometer. Every effort was made in finding original replacement parts in keeping this classic near new/original. Over $80k was spent in the restoration of this XK! Original factory colors!

It should be noted, all parts listed are new except those noted as rebuilt.

The entire body of the car was media blasted, top to bottom, inside and out to bare metal, PPG 2 stage paint and clear coat, Engine is rebuilt, Interior from SNG Barrett, Gauges were cleaned, recalibrated and screen painted as new, Dayton SS spoke wheels,

Excelsior sport radial tires, Duel SS exhaust system, Rebuilt carburetors, Brake cylinders, SS brake lines and shoes, Braided electrical harness, Head lamps, Driving lamps, Fuel tank, Fuel pump and fuel lines, Rear leaf springs, Rebuilt front end, Shocks, Re-core radiator, Restore/chrome all chrome and SS trim.

She's a head turnner for sure and fun to drive to a show or two. She's won a few shows and always gets great compliments.
