1969 Jaguar Series II Roadster ALL MATCHING NUMBERS.. 800 Miles since rebuild
1969 Jaguar XK Description
Here is an excellent example of a fully and completely restored all matching numbers Jaguar -Series II XKE. The chassis was secured in Hard tooling - fixturing jigs and the entire under-body was replaced with authentic Martin-Robey sheet metal (U.K.). Body fit up is superb as well as reinforced, welded and seam sealed. Final rotisserie of the chassis provided a paint job underneath the car equivalent to the top side. In keeping with the intense detail of the restoration, the entire drive train was refurbished to an as new condition. Engine was machined by STERLING PERFORMANCE - Novi, Michigan and was uprated to 10.5 : 1 compression, all new pistons, rings, bearings, valves and an uprated (mild) cam. Transmission received new gears, bearings, layshaft, and synchros. Rear end was removed, powder coated, new bearings and lash reset to factory specification. New rotors, calipers, brake lines, and pads added all round. Interior sports new factory correct leather seats and also includes a "custom" center console of Carbon fiber if you wish to add at a later time.
This is not a "re-paint / undercoat to hide the rust" car. It is a totally new - rebuilt example that is investment worthy for years to come as a hedge against inflation. It has been driven approx. 800 miles since the complete re-build, oil and lube, filters changed and is ready to take on the world. Many original spare parts included if you are seeking a "concours" display piece including many factory original "removable Hard-top" and air conditioning and other bits too numerous to mention here.
