I have the original Passport to Service for the car showing that the car was sold to a James C. Peden Jr, of Olivette, Missouri on Sept 22 1971. It has the sticker showing that the selling dealer was British Leyland Motors INC. OVERSEAS DELIVERY. The US dealer was Gruet Motor Car Company in St. Louis, Missouri. It has the Maintence Record Stamps up through 9-20-1974 with 28,585 miles. That was last stamp on in the Book. I Purchased the car in South Carolina as you see the car here in the pictures. The has no Motor or front seats. The transmission is the original number matching transmission and is included with the car. The car has some rust but is a very restorable car. The floors are in good shape with very little rust. The rear trunk pan has been cut out and the gas tank is missing. The car will need a restoration and does not run (no motor). The car does roll but will need winched on a trailer.
Please look at the pictures and feel free to email or call 865-621-4012 with any questions. I have a good title and the keys to the car. The car is located in Rutledge TN. The car is selling with NO RESERVE, so don’t miss your chance to own one of the most beautiful cars ever built.
Thanks and good luck bidding.
