1952 Jaguar XK120 Replica
I rebuilt a 1959 TR3A 40 years ago and always loved the lines of the TR3 and the Jaguar XK120 and 140. When I found these XK replicas, I had a mid-mid-mid life crisis and had to buy one. I have always been vertically challenged when it came to the sports cars, so the first thought was that I could always cut the car in half and extend it a foot or so. In the interim, I removed the drivers seat and put in a shell seat with a pad in it. However, reality has caught up with me and it is just too much of a pain to try and lower myself into the car. Getting out an even bigger exercise, so I am facing reality and selling this car. Time to go back into a full size convertible.
Actually titled as a 1995 Jaguar built on a Ford Mustang frame with a Ford 302 V8 and automatic transmission. The original driver’s seat has been removed to allow the current owner to “fit in the car and drive it”, but does come with the car. This car has a Tourneau cover and a convertible top with “zip in side curtains” for all weather driving. Everything works and a lot of fun to drive, I just can’t get in or out of it easily.
Also available for sale locally so ad will be removed when car sells.
