1972 Jaguar E-Type Description

Hello and thank you for looking at this 1972 Jaguar E Type, Series 3, V12 Coupe. This is a Blue Plate, California, One Owner car, from new. It features it's matching numbers V12 Engine and Automatic Transmission. The body is completely rust free. This E-Type was purchased new, at Peter Satori Jaguar, in Pasadena, California in 1973, and still retains it's Satori window decal. It was well maintained and garage kept. Non smoker, with no odor or burns. I would say that 60% of the car is original paint, showing patina but very presentable, while the bonnet was touched up due to heat fade or checking. The original body seals around the doors and rear glass, etc., could use replaced. The Chrome bumpers are very nice and straight and feature the small over-riders, not the big ugly rubber over-riders of the later series 3 cars. The Chrome Wire Knock off wheels are excellent. The tires are recent, as well.

The matching numbers V12, starts easily and runs very smoothly. It runs very strong, with no signs of smoke or leaks. The exhaust note is beautiful. The motor runs cool and the radiator fans work as they should. The factory Air Conditioning works LIKE NEW, putting out ice cold air from it's very nice dash vents. The transmission shifts sure and true with no noise or slip. The power steering works perfectly, no whine, no leaks, no problems.
The car is a pleasure to drive. The V12 is incredibly smooth and pulls very strong. The engine has a surprising willingness to rev. When you blip the throttle, it responds quickly and effortlessly. It comes with it's original owners handbooks, and Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. The original tools are present, as well. The current Black Book CPI, (Cars of Particular Interest) Collectible Vehicle Value Guide, lists #2 Excellent Condition value at $75,200.00 This particular example is very close to #2 condition as it is, and a real bargain at $51,900.Bid with confidence, as we have sold many E-Types, and other fine cars, from Coast to Coast, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Central America, The UK, All over Europe and New Zealand.
