Jaguar XK140 FHC
1954 Jaguar XK Original Description
This car has been built from the ground up over a 4 year period with a stunning album to cover the entire build from start to finish including invoices from where original parts were sourced. The parts list and manuals for the car are also fully intact. The interior is a tan leather and carpet combination which carries a certificate of authenticity stating that it matches the exact interior of the cars as they were made at the time of production. A certified heritage certificate is provided for this vehicle with the engine and chassis numbers it bears. The car still has its original gearbox which is rare considering most have been converted to a modern 5 speed setup. This car bears the "Winner Le Mans 1951-3" badge on the boot lid. This particular vehicle has the wire wheel option and these were meticulously detailed with dry-ice and hours of polishing. Several of the parts required were purchased from recognised classic Jaguar dealers in the United Kingdom and are not "look-alike" parts.
This vehicle has been built to be a concours car and the owner has decided to sell the vehicle as a result of relocating. The project is 95% complete but there are a few small finishes required to make this a concours winner and therefore the car is offered at a well reduced price. This vehicle does run and has been driven, albeit seldomly. There are a few parts to car which have not been fitted but which are ready to be slotted in, including the windscreen-wiper motor and one or two small bits and pieces.
One collector or enthusiast is certain to pick up this beautiful example at an incredible price and turn it into a truly stunning classic.I will ship the vehicle anywhere in the world to an address of the buyers choice and this is included in the selling price of the vehicle.
