1956 Jaguar XK Description

I AM SELLING A 1956 JAGUAR XK140 THAT IS RESTORED TO DRIVER QUALITY CONDITION. IT IS A GREAT CAR AND HAS ALWAYS RUN WELL. THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN DONE TO THE CAR.Body is rust free and the chassis had been sandblasted and painted prior to my ownership
Paint quality is good but has some flaws from poor prep. (Driver quality) but NO rust.
2013
A complete new leather interior was installed.
A complete new cloth wiring harness was installed
Most of the chrome was either replaced or rechromed
There are four new chrome wire wheels.
New front and rear spline hubs
New wide whitewall tires (radicals)
All new stainless steel exhaust system All new lights
All new shocks
Two new rear leaf springs
New gaskets and rubbers
Engine was rebuilt prior to my ownership
New reduction gear starter
New generator
Rebuilt SU carbs
2016
The transmission is a new Tremic 5speed with new clutch/pressure plate and throwout bearing.
2017
Converted the front brakes to disc (new hubs, calipers, disc and bearings) car comes with the old drum brakes. Along with all brake hoses.
I HAVE A NEW ROBBINS CANVAS TOP FOR THE CAR BUT IT IS NOT INSTALLED.(BLACK)THE CAR WILL BE SOLD 'AS IS ' AND 'WHERE IS' CONDITION. THE CAR DOSE NOT HAVE A TITLE.
