1950 Jaguar XK 120 Nice, Easy, Project Description

*** This XK 120 Roadster Is Located In Villanova, PA, 19085, about 20 Minutes outside of Philadelphia *** Not in Lumberton, NJ *** I am listing this Jaguarfor my good friend. I have two other XK 120's available, another one from the same stable (see picture #24), should you not like this color combination.

Simply a good, straight XK 120 roadster with plenty of nickel / dime issues. It is notaJaguar that was patched, cut, welded, recut, welded again, four more times, by eight different ownersandhacked togetherfrom five different cars and a bunch of eBay partsthat wasfinally finished by that "expert" up the street building Mazda RX7's... Capire?

Except for me not cleaning this up a bit, here are some areasneeding attention. Unfortunately this is a non matching number car, at least the cylinder head, I did not check the engine block. Earlier repaint (I believe originally black) with some runs, chips and other blemishes. The doors need adjustment.A couple ofgrill vanes are loose. Incorrect exhaust. No wheel jack or tools. Some incorrect screws, clamps,etc.. A mouse was in the trunk / boot and messed up the newer material.Probably a just a few hundred other little things that would upset someone that has no intention of driving it!

This XK 120 hasn't had much exercise in the last five or six years, she's been sitting in that damn garage. I started this120 about2 weeks ago from my jump box, it took 20 seconds before she fired up on the old fuel. (one 12 volt battery in this car, the double battery box is in beautiful condition)The enginewas quiet, she coughed a bit when I hit the accelerator and she has good oil pressure with no bad engine noises.

This Jaguar was stored immediately, about 5 or 6 years ago, after being completely serviced along witha new wire harness, brake system overhaul, complete new interior, topand boot kit.(I believe the interior was originally red from the factory)and many other new parts. Much $$$ Already Invested
