1967 E Type Jaguar 2 2
1967 Jaguar E-Type Description
Aunt Erma is selling her Jag. Aunt Erma ordered and purchased this beautiful car in 1967 and it has been her baby since the day it arrived from Coventry, England. Unfortunately, due to poor health it has been sitting in her garage since 1994. With her deteriorating health she asked that it be cleaned up and sold so that it has a good home. This car is a numbers matching - one owner car.
She shows gentle signs of her age with some minor dings and scratches, but overall she is really straight with beautiful chrome. The following items were done to get her back on the road.
-New Battery (AGM Maintenance Free in a Lucas case) with new cables and battery pad-Upgraded Front Zeus Brake Calipers with new rotors and pads-New rear calipers, rotors, and pads-Emergency brakes rebuilt with new pads-New Rubber brake hoses-New Master Cylinder-New brake fluid resevoirs with new hoses-Remote brake bleeder in rear-New fuel tank, hoses and new fuel filters-SU Carbs thoroughly cleaned-New cam cover gaskets-Cam covers and Carb suction covers polished-New Water Pump and hoses replaced-Radiator flushed-New Stainless Steel Exhaust-She sounds beautiful!-New strap for windshield washer-New Distributor cap, Champion plugs and wire set
A little about her heritage. First she is a 2+2 with an automatic transmission. She is not a series one, a series two and it's not really a series 1.5. For the purist I know that these are not official designations but according to JCNA-Judges guide the chassis numbers show she is a Series 1.25. One of 692 built. She does not have covered headlights but she does have the three SU carburetors, Toggle Switches and tail lamps above the number.
She shows some modest wear but she is perfect for restoration. Please look at the pictures and ask questions so you have a clear picture of Aunt Erma's old jag. She has a clear title that Aunt Erma will sign off with the new buyer.
