1978 JEEP J-20 4X4 AMBULANCE

One of 19 ever built, this Jeep J-20 was custom built for the U.S. Air Force as an Rescue truck.

This awesome rig currently has less than 15k original miles and I have the Air Force docs to prove it.

It is four wheel drive and has a massive PTO winch mounted to the front bumper. It’s tested and works! The chassis is rated ton and a quarter!!!

It runs and drives like new in 1978. Amazingly, the underdash and rear box unit air conditioning still blow ice cold!!! It has $1000 worth of new tires installed with a fifth matching spare tire.

The original siren still works, the headlights have a working flashing mode and it has rear led lights.

The truck was repainted and the body looks great! The truck has a factory 360 V8, power steering, power brakes, new aluminum radiator and duel electric fans and a factory four speed transmission.

You won’t see another one. This truck would make an amazing adventure RV, Food truck, Gaming truck etc. Please call Hawkeye at 210-548-1310 for any questions. The truck is located in San Antonio Texas. You can fly in and drove it home. There is an area on both sides of the front floor pan that's rusted through. But…its totally flat plateandeasy to repair. The other areas are on either side of thewindshield, at pillar top corners. Odd because the rest of the Jeep is extremely nice, like its new. It's really an awesome truck!
