1977 Jeep CJ Base Black seats brown trim Description
1977 Jeep CJ7 Body off frame restoration. 3 speed T50 manual, Running Good Year 33 12.50 15 three new and two with little use tires this would includ a spare tire. All new power steering and power brakes added. Front Axle Dana 30, gearing 411 with locker. Rear axles AMC 20 Equal toDana 44 when upgraded too the one piece Axles, Gearing is 411 with locker giving the jeep a full 4 wheel drives. The exteriors colors used are Hunter Green and brown to give it a camouflaged effect. Steel wheels painted brown. Jeep remains ruggedly attractive. All parts replaced with new or rebuilt, with the exception of the engine.. I have a list of all parts replaced. The pictures should be a tell all of what was done. The sale price should be what you invested? around $18,500 to $21,000 is about what we have into it. I ask my self where did all that money go? things like spring shackles and bushings, all new rubber frame to body bushings, new gearing all around complete drive train rebuild. Body is lifted for the clearance to run 33 inch tires. 2 inch wheel spacers all around to give it a wider stance. Pleanty of pictures show how upgrades installed. What’s left to finish is minor stuff the person that buys this sort of vehicle will no doubt be happy to be able to finish it up there way. as all that’s left is simple accessories And since Im not able to drive it for break in this leaves it up to the new owner to carry out the many adjustments needed. As I wanted to run at least 500 miles on it to break in the front and rear axles ring and pinion. Tighten things that are loose, loosen things that are to tight. So in building the CJ for me my personal and possibly the last. I poured money into this project like no tomarro. just did not care. Look at all the new parts Id say to my self and just fill up with pride. Boxes would arrive almost daily.It is my opinion that After reading and checking out all the pictures and seeing everythingthat'sbeen done to this Jeep and the asking price is at least half of what its worth. the new owner if he she wanted to could drop a V8 add air a hardtopand soft for under $10,000 and have New Jeep CJ7 sitting in your garage when you'renot up on top of a mountain.
