You are looking at a very rare 1970 Kaiser Jeep CJ5 Renegade 1 with 46,910 miles. 1970was the first year the Renegade special order package was available and only 250 Orange Renegade 1's where built. The few Renegade 1's that have survived are very historically significant to the CJ lineage. Theyhavesome very special optionssuch as bright colors and blackhooddecalsunique to the Renegade, a Locking rear differential, Swing out rear tire carrier,Roll bar, Dash pad, and Sun visors.This is a very clean3 owner Jeep originallyfrom Colorado. We have the original sales invoice, owners manual, and some of the service records that verify the low miles. The paint and decals areoriginal, the body ortub as it's called is solid and straight with very minimal rust mainly inside the rear wheel wells behind the drivers side tail light(see photos listed in the ad). Theframe is solid, the floors are in very good condition with minimal rust on a couple seams (see photos listed in the ad). It still has the original seats, sun visors, dash pad, decals, and gauges with very minimal wear. The radio still works! As one would expect the original 47 year old drivers seat vinyl shows some cracking but, the passenger seat and rear seat are in outstanding condition.The Dauntless V6 starts right upand runs well, the 3 speed manual shifts well. The Jeep starts, stops, andgoes down the road very nicely. It is very hard to find a survivorlike this anymore!
