PICTURE IS OFF THE INTERNET, but is representative of what this era of Jeep looks like. This CJ5 was rescued from my wife's uncle's place some 10 years ago, with the plan to transfer its V6 motor to a CJ-2A we had at the time. When we started the motor it had such a nice rumble to it, we decided to instead sellthe CJ-2A and restore this CJ5.More about its unique engine can be found here: http://www.jeeptech.com/engine/dauntless225.html
Ipurchaseda metal hardtop/doors for it, as well as a tilt jeep steering column and wheel(still have the original column and steering wheel). We disassembled it and began the restoration and then life happened, and it got set aside. The original tub was rotted so I purchased a military CJ5 tub (hasabatteryaccess near the right windshield hinge) as well as a new rear floor from classic enterprises, and several pieces of 4' x 5' flat sheetmetal. Also have a front axle from a newer CJ with disc brakes and the differential gearing to match the back axle.
I am no longer interested in finishing the project (my wife passed away Jan 2017, and as much as I would like to finish the project...I know it is not going to happen).
Posting this listing to see what interest there may be.... before I go to too much trouble pulling all the partsout of the shed for pictures (and find the speedo/odometer for the mileage and the VIN plate). Please contact me if interestedand I will get pictures. Vehicle is located in Grand Forks, BC Canada......5 minutes away from Danville, WA USA.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.Rob
I am not interested in cutting out ebay if contact is initiated though ebay. But, It has been a while since I sold something on ebay, and I see now that I probably should have done a differently listing format with a buy it now or best offer. If you have an offer that you would like to communicate to me, send me a message and I can always pull thislistingand do another one to accommodate. Just would prefer to expend the energy redoing it, with the benefit of that knowledge.
